The Pro has more games that run at a high frame rate… but every few are locked at that higher frame rate… Also the Pro uses the same settings as the base PS4 in most games and in some games the same resolution as base PS4 where as the XB1X uses higher settings and higher resolutions…

Take Evil Within 2 for example both Pro and XB1X have unlocked fps however Pro is 1080p and is able to top out at 60fps however with lows to the 30s… so pretty pointless. XB1X is 1800p but hovers around 30fps at all times and has better graphical settings

And this is most cases Pro v XB1X…

If the picture on your 1080p tv looks anything like the image in the thumbnail……..get a new tv. 1080p is still a perfectly acceptable resolution on all platforms.

As far as framerate is concerned I am not buying the 30fps is okay because it's a console argument, 60fps feels fluid regardless of platform. I hope more developers give the option for 60fps vs straight resolution and graphical enhancements.

4K destroys FHD

I'm sorry MaDz, but the thumbnail for this video is so inaccurate i consider it extremely misleading.

There is actually more titles with 60fps enhancements on Pro than XB1X.
Abzu, Agents of Mayhem, Atelier First, Battleborne, Dark Souls 3, Everyone's Golf, Hellblade, Infamous (Second Son & First Light), Kindom Hearts 2.8, Knack (1&2), Life is Strange BtS, MLB the Show 17, No Man's Sky, Shadow of Colossus, Redout, Sword Art Online : HR, The Evil Within 2, also games that have 60fps on both Pro and XB1X, Farming Simulator 17, The Surge, RotTR, Etc. The only game that has a 60fps on XB1X and not on Pro is Witcher 3, and CD Projekt Red is gonna patch Pro with HDR, and it'll probably add a 60fps mode to Pro with the patch…

The fact that last gen consoles were able to do 60fps more than current gen consoles is a damn shame. And last gen, games still looked good, especially for their hardware.

Madz you have a PC, but have an Xbox gamer state of mind and said you don’t see what’s the big deal over 60fps on console. Uh the OG Xbox and 360 were 60fps consoles with few 30fps games. It’s a big deal. Since there’s a PlayStation console in the title, I’ll also tell you PS3 was a 60fps console (although it struggled a lot due to bad ports until 2009) with not a lot of 30fps game just like the 360.

I think that there’s this illusion that 60fps doesn’t matter because current consoles can’t do them fully. Like 4K. I remember on StoneFoxMedia’s channel, when PC guys would make fun of consoles for not having 4K at all, and console fanboys would sound off 4K like it wasn’t necessary (which it’s not), now all of a sudden, 4K is the greatest thing ever and textures and teraflops are everything.

It all depends on the type of game. We all know shooters and racers should be 60fps mandatory, but games that have very very intense and nonstop action like hack and slash or (J)RPGs should be too. Bloodbourne should be 60fps for sure but it’s not.

But 60fps > 4K. You’ll notice a change in gameplay, 4K (looks) don’t change the gameplay
